位於印度西部古吉拉特省（Gujarat）的阿默特巴德( Ahmedabad），印度古代或現在鑽石工業貿易發達城市。

出現時間

阿默達巴德鑽石的最早歷史來源到現今都不能確定。比較確定的出現時間於1857年由印度女王Hazrat Mahal所擁有。

最後到1995年被放於倫敦佳士得拍賣公司(Christie's London)拍賣，最後在拍賣會上由 Robert Mouawad 己 $4,324,554 USD 投得。

此鑽石被美國寶石學協會(Gemological Institute of America)評級為 D-color, VS1 clarity, 78.86 carats.
